Mom and Dad (and pumpkin)
We’d like to welcome the latest addition to our extended family. Earlier today, my sister Meghan gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Violet. This is the first time we’ve been able to call me an Aunt and Jon an Uncle, so we’re pretty excited. Everybody is doing well, resting and getting to know each other. Congratulations Meghan and Kevin; we are so excited for you.

(In a related matter — I’m a smidge envious, at the rate my brother-in-law is going [age 33, still lives with his parents], we’ll never enjoy those titles over here. My girls will be cousinless!)
